Astrology for the Week of January 17 - 23

The intensity from the past week spills over into Monday with the Full Moon in Cancer. This full moon has the potential for both deep transformation - but also manipulation. 

Tuesday:

Tuesday has a lot of action in the Taurus and Scorpio houses. Uranus turns direct in Taurus and a few hours later the North Node moves in while the South Node moves into Scorpio. 

If you’ve been building towards something in your Taurus house, this could jump-start it. Uranus has been shaking things up over the last couple of years in this house and on November 19, 2021, a lunar eclipse in Taurus gave us a preview of what the nodal shift would be like. 

If you have these signs on an angle (Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius, or Taurus rising) you’ll feel it most intensely - but everyone will understand the theme of the nodes in these signs when the first eclipse lights it up at the end of April.

Wednesday:

On Wednesday the Sun moves into Aquarius at 8:39 pm to bring attention to an area of your chart that has been on fire since December 21, 2020, and that is going to get another lightning bolt on March 6. 

In December Jupiter and Saturn met up to set the tone for expansion and responsibility. You were dreaming of something big and willing to work to make it happen. In March, Venus and Mars will meet in the same place and then move on to join Saturn and Jupiter over the following months. An intention you planted in late December of 2020 is starting to grow. 

Pay attention to what you’re focused on as the Sun moves over this 0 degree of Aquarius today and tomorrow for clues as to how it’s going (or what it is!)

Early Saturday might be slightly more frustrating or action-oriented than you’d like for a weekend but the night has some lovely opportunities for good communication.

With the Sun moving towards a conjunction with Mercury in the early hours of Sunday, tonight is ideal for getting clear about any lingering confusion you have in the Aquarius part of your chart. Mercury will be hitting that important 0-degree mark next week and then returning when he’s direct in February to prepare the way for Mars and Venus.
