Astrology for the Week of March 6 - 12

Monday has the potential for unexpected conversations or insights related to Tuesday’s Full Moon. As the energy begins to build for what is going to be a humdinger of a lunation, people (that includes you) might be a little more volatile and chaotic than usual. 

This is especially true for people with prominent placements in Pisces and Virgo (planets, rising, profected house, etc) or in other mutable signs (Sagittarius and Gemini).

Tuesday is the focus of the week. We have the Virgo Full Moon at 7:40 am eastern followed by Saturn moving into Pisces less than an hour later. It’s a big deal kind of day.

Let’s start with the Virgo Full Moon. 

Full moons are known for highlighting the tension between opposite signs which are located in opposite areas of life for you in your birth chart. For example, the first house of self is opposite the seventh house of partnership.

Virgo is an earth sign known for its practicality, organization, and attention to detail, while Pisces is a water sign associated with imagination, sensitivity, and spirituality. The energy of the Virgo Full Moon is a type of balancing act between these two energies.

This is a good opportunity to focus on practical solutions to spiritual or creative matters, and identify areas in your life related to the topics of your Virgo & Pisces houses that need improvement. Just remember to focus on progress rather than perfection as perfectionism is only going to hold you back.

To recap, there are likely to be fireworks and unexpected revelations related to a Virgo house topic followed by two weeks of releasing things standing in the way of your Pisces goals from the previous New Moon.

Think of it as an initiative to find a balance between practicality and spirituality, and to focus on making small but significant improvements in your daily life.

By rising sign, the area of life you may experience a celebratory achievement and/or a point of release:

• Aries Rising: Physical health, illness, coworkers, your job, pets, self-improvement, and the things you feel obligated to
• Taurus Rising: Children, pleasure, romance, dating, sexuality, the things you desire,  the creative arts, love affairs, the ways in which you are entertained, close friends, and lovers
• Gemini Rising: Home, family, home life, land, ancestors, private self, your emotional foundation, gains from hidden sources, your father, and your father’s family

• Leo Rising: Money, possessions, resources, and how you make a living
• Virgo Rising: Self-awareness, your identity, appearance, personality, the way you view yourself, your character, your primary motivation, your body, your health, and vitality
• Libra Rising: Mental health, the subconscious, ways you self sabotage, the ways you isolate yourself, hidden enemies, transcendence, and spiritual liberation
• Scorpio Rising: Friends with influence, alliances, your hopes and dreams, social media, personal and professional networks, unions, mentors, and that which supports you
• Sagittarius Rising: Your reputation, profession, actions, relationship with and to authority, your mother and her family, your destiny, and your ambitions
• Capricorn Rising: Higher education, divination, foreign travel, religion, astrology, the divine masculine, and your ability to grow, adapt, and learn
• Aquarius Rising: Investment, other people’s money, debt, topics concerning death, psychology, taxes, fears, transformation, and the occult
• Pisces Rising: Committed relationships, contracts, business partners, and other contractual relationships, and open enemies

The blending of the spiritual and practical is further amplified by Saturn entering Pisces where he will be for the next three years.

This is literally structure, boundaries, routines, discipline, and all of the adulting things you can think of being brought to help you make the imagined a reality in your Pisces House.

It is not going to be instantaneous, it will be a new reality you work to build over time - because if nothing else, Saturn teaches us that we have to take the time and put in the effort if we really want something to work.

Wednesday is much calmer and gives you an opportunity to feel into how Saturn in Pisces feels for you personally. The Moon will be in Libra encouraging everyone to be more diplomatic and far less emo.

Thursday is another relatively quiet but optimistic day, which is great for making steady progress.

Friday is energetic. If you have a plan going in, there’s the potential to get a lot accomplished by sticking to it. If you’re more of a “see what the day brings” kind of person it might be a little more chaotic.

Friday night the Moon moves into Scorpio at 7:05 pm eastern and immediately bumps into Saturn giving you a clear hint at how the water houses in your chart will be benefiting from the new structure Saturn is bringing into Pisces.

Saturday is nice with a little boost of energy and excitement. You could use it to get things off of your spring cleaning to-do list, go out for an adventure, for creative writing or thinking, or work on a project you’re passionate about.

Sunday is a little more eclipsey than the rest of the weekend because the Moon in Scorpio is talking to all of the other planets. Whatever your Scorpio eclipse themes have been, they are likely up for review but in a productive forward momentum kind of way.

Even if you haven’t really noticed the eclipses, you can take advantage of the generally productive forward momentum energy to plan the week ahead - which is going to be bonkers so make sure you leave space for plot twists and course corrections.
