Astrology for the Week of January 23 - January 29

The week starts off very dreamy and relaxed before moving into hyper drive mid week.

Monday 1/23:

Monday we have a slow start to the week. I know everything is direct now and we just had a new moon and slow might not sound overly appealing but this is that lovely sinking into a warm bath kind of slow.

Even if you have work to do that doesn’t mean you have to rush or that you can’t enjoy it. Be deliberate, luxuriate in it, and really let yourself feel into the new beginnings you’re working towards.

Tuesday flows smoothly along. That type of energy can be used very effectively to work on projects or it can be used to read books and binge Netflix shows. 

Be mindful of your goals, your thoughts, and where you direct your energy or you could find yourself flowing towards what’s easy today rather than what would make your life easier in the long run.

Wednesday begins a little dreamy before transitioning to BIG fiery energy in the afternoon as the Moon moves into Aries at 1:47 pm eastern and then goes directly towards Jupiter to encourage maximum optimism and expansion.

Thursday morning there is plenty of energy and drive to take physical or intellectual action. 

Thursday evening Venus moves into Pisces.

The house Venus is moving into is the area of life where you’ll be more willing to define and attract the things you value and desire (and reject the things that no longer live up to your standards), creating beauty as you define it, and facilitating greater harmony for yourself, between yourself and others, or between your inner and outer worlds. 

The house where you find Pisces is where you have a greater need to commit yourself to a dream and work towards the realization of that dream. In this area of life you could be imaginative, dreamy, flowing, curious, and expansive or drifting, impractical, self-destructive, indecisive, and unrealistic.

With Venus in Pisces you will need take time to look at what you desire and value with kindness and be willing to accept the truth even if it requires processing raw emotions. Venus is exalted in Pisces so it is a fantastic time to do this and to consider your values and desires as they relate to Venusian topics such as love, money, and how willing you are to attract the things you truly want.

By rising sign, the topics you’ll be exploring through the lens of Venus in Pisces are:

• Aries Rising: Mental health, the subconscious, ways you self sabotage, the ways you isolate yourself, hidden enemies, transcendence, and spiritual liberation

This is an area that had a lot of attention from Jupiter last year and which will be Saturn’s home for the next three years beginning in March. You likely have some big ideas about what you want and when Saturn arrives it will be time to build the structure to make them a reality. For now, however, Venus can help you make sure those ideas are aligned with what you really want while also giving you much easier access to your Venusian desires in general.

Friday we have an industrious start that winds down into a truly Venusian evening. If you have anything artistic, romantic, or decadent you want to do, tonight is pretty fantastic after about 7pm eastern.

The entire weekend has  a feeling of excitement and potential that hasn’t been readily available for several months and maybe even longer for some. This isn’t a weekend to sit on the sidelines it’s a weekend to pay attention to what you want and go for it.

Consider leveraging it to work towards your Taurus house goals and eclipse changes or for any Venusian activities you may have identified as something you want more of since Venus went into Pisces.

Sunday isn’t quite as laid back as Friday and Saturday were. There could be unexpected communication or a desire to take action that feels easier and more accessible than what may have been available over the last several months.
