Wicked Veracity Podcast Show Notes | Episode 115

Before we get started, I want you to know that all times I’m going to mention are in the Eastern time zone. January begins with Mars, Mercury, and Uranus retrograde slowing down the energy for the start of the calendar year. Do not expect to be excited and dedicated to your goals and resolutions right away. That’s not to say you can’t get there with determination and a bit of coaching, but it might be more challenging for the first few weeks. You may also find that what you want your goals to be could change before February so don’t feel obligated to stick to something just because it sounded like a great idea while the planets of action and logic were on a little vacation.

Monday offers us at least one fresh start. Venus moves into Aquarius at 9:09 pm eastern. 

The house Venus is moving into is the area of life where you’ll be more willing to define and attract the things you value and desire (and reject the things that no longer live up to your standards), creating beauty as you define it, and facilitating greater harmony for yourself, between yourself and others, or between your inner and outer worlds. 

The house where you find Aquarius is where you have a greater desire for innovation and a need to fight the thoughts you were conditioned to believe are facts by parents, society, and past experiences. 

Nothing is objectively true, not even science. 

Truth should be fluid and changing as new information is brought to light. That’s how advancements are made. If we still considered it true that humans couldn’t fly we wouldn’t have planes or ships that can take us into space. I could give thousands of examples here but then we’d have a history lesson.

As Venus moves into Aquarius she is clearing the path for the rest of the planets who will be entering later in the month and moving towards a new beginning with the Aquarius New Moon.

This area of life has undergone a lot of changes for everyone since December, 21 of 2020 when the Great Conjunction between Saturn and Jupiter occurred at 0 degrees of Aquarius. Brief history nerd note here, that was the closest conjunction of the two outer planets in nearly 400 years. It was major for individuals and the world. 

Jupiter has just moved into Aries and  is now able to help that area of life out even more. Plus, Saturn is preparing to depart in March which will leave a lot of structural changes but far fewer challenges.

As Venus moves towards her conjunction with Saturn at the end of the month (which is going to be energetically spectacular) she is tidying up from the renovations over the past two years and helping you decide how you want this portion of your life to look and feel moving forward. There’s still some work to be done, but while Venus is here is the time to decide how you want this part of your zodiac home to look and feel. It won’t be what it was before the end of 2020, it will be so much better, if you allow yourself to think new thoughts and believe new things.

Friday is a dynamic high energy day where you may be tempted to say all of the things - and I’m not going to tell you not to say them. I will say make sure you think about what it is you want to say or announce and do so for reasons you love and not in reaction to something or someone else. 

The Cancer Full Moon won’t be exact until 6:07 pm eastern which gives you most of Thursday and all of Friday to do something big for the topics related to the Cancer area of your chart. After that point manifestation and creation energy take a backseat to figuring out what needs to be cleared out to move forward.

On Saturday the Sun will be conjunct Mercury at 7:56 am eastern. Expect sudden insights, understanding, and information to come your way - or to be the person providing that for someone else ;) 

This is true from the Full Moon through the end of the week which makes this three day period excellent for journaling, divination, meditation, and anything else that opens you to new ideas and ways of seeing your world. 

In general, however, this day could be emotional as the Moon moves towards an opposition to the lord of the underworld (otherwise known as Pluto). So, while the insights and information may be valuable that doesn’t mean you (or perhaps other people) will feel light and floaty. It’s far more likely to be an emotionally intense day which, as I’ve said over and over, isn’t subjectively good or bad. Orgasms and car accidents are both intense but the first probably isn’t scary ;)
