Astrology for the Week of September 26 - October 2

Most of the week is *very* action-oriented. If you’ve needed a push to get things done, you’ll probably be very happy to have access to the additional motivation and focus.

If you’ve been looking for a little more spontaneity and fun, that’s readily available Friday and Saturday.

On Monday, it’s time to get started laying the groundwork for the things you’ve decided to manifest with yesterday’s new moon. Yes, Mercury is still retrograde but there is a *lot* of disciplined and enduring action available this week that shouldn’t be wasted.

Thursday Venus moves into her home sign of Libra. It’s really a lovely day in general with a lot of potential for some deep and intense conversations - especially about topics related to relationships or new moon decisions. 

The house where you find Libra is where you have a stronger desire to cooperate with others and create beauty and balance. In this area of your life, you have the potential to show up as agreeable, social, charming, diplomatic, and refined OR dependent, indecisive, passive, superficial, and vain.

The house Venus is moving into is the area of life where you’ll be more willing to define and attract the things you value (and reject the things that no longer live up to your standards), creating beauty as you define it, and facilitating greater harmony for yourself, between yourself and others, or between your inner and outer worlds.

With Venus in Libra, the way you become more magnetic for the things you want to attract is by first becoming clear on what those things are by considering how they will bring greater balance, harmony, or beauty into your life and then making space for them. Just be sure you don’t become overly diplomatic and negotiate your power and authenticity away as you call in what you want.

By rising sign, the topics where you’ll have a little boost of magnetism include:

• Aries Rising: Committed relationships, contracts, business partners, and other contractual relationships, and open enemies
• Taurus Rising: Physical health, illness, coworkers, your job, pets, self-improvement, and the things you feel obligated to

• Cancer Rising: Home, family, home life, land, ancestors, private self, your emotional foundation, gains from hidden sources, your father, and your father’s family
• Leo Rising: Communication, siblings, divination, short distance travel, your neighborhood, writing, your immediate environment, the divine feminine, siblings, and cousins
• Virgo Rising: Money, possessions, resources, and how you make a living
• Libra Rising: Self-awareness, your identity, appearance, personality, the way you view yourself, your character, your primary motivation, your body, your health, and vitality
• Scorpio Rising: Mental health, the subconscious, ways you self sabotage, the ways you isolate yourself, hidden enemies, transcendence, and spiritual liberation
• Sagittarius Rising: Friends with influence, alliances, your hopes and dreams, social media, personal and professional networks, unions, mentors, and that which supports you
• Capricorn Rising: Your reputation, profession, actions, relationship with and to authority, your mother and her family, your destiny, and your ambitions
• Aquarius Rising: Higher education, divination, foreign travel, religion, astrology, the divine masculine, and your ability to grow, adapt, and learn

If this sounds familiar, it’s because the Sun just entered this area of life last week and we had a new moon (new beginning!) here last weekend. Now is an *excellent* time to start manifesting those new moon things.

The energy of today is why the Fri-yay stereotype exists. It’s a very extroverty, high-energy day that would be great for dates, networking, and all types of peopling.

Saturday is expansive and energetic with a lot of opportunity for relationship growth - if you’re able to engage in open, honest, authentic communication. 

It’s interesting to me how many people decide to spin words into subjectively negative or positive interpretations for these forecasts based on the words I use. So I’m going to take a second to clarify.

When I say relationship growth, I don’t mean engagement, taking it to the next level, falling in love, or something else that is subjectively positive. I’m also not limiting it to romantic relationships, it could be your relationship with a sibling, coworker, bestie, or parent.

Growth is change. I like the Merriam-Webster definition of “a stage or condition in increasing, developing, or maturing”

That can mean a whole lot of things, some of which might be subjectively negative such as breaking up with a significant other because you’ve grown in different directions, leaving a mentor and job you once loved because you have a great opportunity elsewhere, or even realizing the only way to grow as a person is to leave a friendship behind. 

The growth will be found in the Libra/Aries axis of your chart but you’ll notice it in your life if you’re not limiting the scope of your awareness exclusively to positive significant other experiences (although it could totally be that and if that’s you - congratulations!)

It’s also not something everyone will notice - but for those of you with a lot of Venus/Mars activations or Libra/Aries placements - You’re gonna feel it.

Sunday morning Mercury stations direct. Can I get a hallelujah? It’s a great day for getting to work. While there may be a few retrograde hiccups left as Mercury moves out of his shadow, everything should go much smoother for the next couple of weeks.
