Astrology for the Week of September 12-18

At the beginning of the week, there is a lot of productive energy that can help you get a lot done despite any Mercury retrograde shenanigans. However, midweek through the weekend is far more emotionally challenging.

Monday 9/12:

Monday is a solid and productive start to the week. You have things to do and the fortitude to get them done.

What I don’t know for sure is whether the things on your checklist are taking a nap and doing various forms of self-care, building a funnel, or revising your dating profile. But whatever it is, get to it ;)

Tuesday 9/13:

Tuesday is also productive but with some indulgence sprinkled on top. If you’re working away, make sure you take time for a walk outside or a decadent cupcake break.

Wednesday is another boring day of productivity. I’m joking, a little. I’m actually looking forward to all of the focused potential of the week but I’m also looking forward to the delicious snacks I’ll be obtaining for my breaks.

Thursday 9/15:

I feel almost like a broken record but… 

Thursday is productive with an emphasis on Empress vibes. Be sure to do the work but also treat yourself like royalty. The evening is much more active and communicative so if you’ve felt like all work and not enough peopling, tonight is a good time to socialize.

I will say that you should pay careful attention to what I’m going to say next and take into consideration that the energy will be building today - it just won’t be dominant (yet).

Friday is kind of a tricky day. There’s a lot of tension between the masculine and feminine going on while at the same time our conscious mind is struggling with logic. 

I try to avoid all of the technical explanations but this time you’ll just have to indulge me. 

Venus is in Virgo where she’s more discerning on a good day and more hyper-critical on a not-so-good day. Mars is in Gemini where he’s all in his head thinking and analyzing and strategizing and they’re both kind of back and forth with the mutable energy not really sure what they want *plus* being ruled by a retrograde Mercury. Throw in the square aspect which is both passionate and incendiary and you have a recipe for an emo not knowing who wants what kind of vibe that could lead to an explosive “let’s burn it all down” kind of day or a “let’s have makeup sex” kind of night. Or both.

THEN you have the Sun opposing Neptune which can be dreamy and romantic but it can also be paranoid and delusional.

Literally nothing about today is going to be rational soooo see how you feel, try to be compassionate with yourself and all of the other humans, and may the odds be ever in your favor.

If you want a more work-oriented read on the energy, think creative differences on a team that leads to strong opinions being shared and possibly hurt feelings but (hopefully) ends with a way forward rather than someone quitting. 

Saturday 9/17:

Saturday is a nice day to try to get back on the logic horse but you may find yourself struggling a bit. Lean into the curiosity of a Gemini moon and see where it leads you.

Sunday you may find you have some very concrete feelings about whatever the latter part of the week brought up and you may want to share your thoughts about those feelings. 

I’m a big fan of processing and it’s a great day for it *but* it won’t be a one-and-done kind of thing. You’ll have more to do when Mercury makes his final opposition to Jupiter in October. 

No matter what tension comes up for you this weekend (or really any time ever) there is a lesson to be learned. In my experience, we keep getting the same lessons until we take the time to really process, understand, and integrate. If you don’t like this lesson, spend more time on the processing.
