Astrology for the Week of June 6 - 12

Before we get started, I want you to know that all times I’m going to mention are in the Eastern time zone. If you want to see the aspects discussed in the forecast on your digital calendar in your time zone, you can get that here.

Remember how I said last week that June 3 was my official start of summer and how this month was going to be so much nicer than May - that begins in earnest this week. It may not be peaceful or slow but it should feel significantly easier to slip into a flow state.

I do have one little disclaimer that I feel I have to add since Mercury has been making an effort to point it out to me over the last couple of days. He will be in shadow (which just means covering the same ground he previously covered while retrograde) until next Saturday, June 18, when he hits 5° of Gemini. 

This could look like having to review and edit details of a project you were working on throughout the retrograde or having your homeowners insurance that was randomly canceled as Mercury stationed direct in your 8th house of insurance, reinstated. 

It’ll be easier but you might have a bit of cleanup left to do.

Monday 6/6:

 Monday is quietly productive and pleasant. It’s a great start to the week and an opportunity to catch up on anything that got delayed or derailed during Mercury retrograde. 

Tuesday 6/7:

Tuesday the productivity continues although you might be more tired than usual tonight from all of the action you’ve been taking.

Wednesday starts off a little slow but the pace quickly picks up and becomes more collaborative than nose to the grindstone. Just be aware of anything that sounds too good to be true as people (including you) might be inclined to think they can deliver more than is realistically possible.

Thursday is another generally productive day. 

However, the Mercury/Pluto trine happening tomorrow evening will be evident to pretty much everyone today (if you’re extra sensitive to Mercury this year you’ve likely felt it since Tuesday or Wednesday). This is one of those Mercury retrograde cleanup things I was talking about.

Mercury is communication and Pluto is transformation. So, you’ve probably been thinking (communicating with yourself) or wanting to talk with someone else about something you’d like to have transformed. 

I could break it all down by houses but the truth is, just knowing where the transit is happening doesn’t give you the full story. It also has to do with the houses Mercury rules and where Mercury is in your natal chart.

Instead, pay attention to your thoughts and the conversations you have or deeply want to have about big changes. Don’t brush them off or try to escape them over the next three days - dive deeper to really make progress.

Friday, that Mercury Pluto assignment I mentioned intensifies.

Saturday the big news is Venus moving towards a conjunction with Uranus in Taurus. This is a significant and surprising development that could have to do with women in your life, art, love, food, money, or other Venusian or Taurus house themes. 

This is one of those aspects that could start causing ripples earlier in the week depending on how it’s configured in your chart. 

Uranus IS unpredictable but he’s basically got a hot date with Venus in her castle which means she’s ultimately in charge and since she’s an absolutely lovely hostess I think it will be a mostly pleasant surprise. Of course, I am a relentless optimist so your results could vary.

Sunday is pretty active astrologically which is more conducive to prepping for the upcoming week, knocking out some to-do list items, or going out with friends and family than it is for sitting on the couch binge-watching the latest season on Netflix.

Not a bad way to wrap up a week or to prep for the slightly more active week to follow.
