Astrology for the Week of May 23 - 29

This past weekend probably revealed a lot of things you weren’t expecting, either within yourself or from those around you. Were you paying attention? You’ll have a few days early in the week to really process before you’re introduced to what it means to speak about the divine feminine and divine masculine as Mars and Venus enter their home signs.

Monday is delightful, optimistic, and productive. It’s the strongest start to a week we’ve had in almost a month and you could make significant progress if you ride the wave.

Tuesday is astrologically active. Serious conversations about partnership (romantic and business) and what you want could be on the menu. 

Tuesday evening, Mars enters Aries where he will stay until July 5. In Aries, he is at his most masculine. 

First, let’s talk about what Mars does. He energizes, initiates action, and makes you willing to put in the effort. He’s also the planet associated with one’s sex drive. 

Mars rules Aries which is a cardinal fire sign. It is known for making planets more independent, bold, authoritative, unruly, and inconsistent. This is very much the energy of the warrior, the competitor, the emperor, and the divine masculine.

What does that mean for you? It means you, and all of the other humans out there, are more likely to be feeling more connected to the animalistic needs that may otherwise be subdued. This could be lots of fun or it could be people becoming overly aggressive and short-tempered depending on where it lands in their chart and how they deal with alpha Mars energy.

It can also show up as having more energy and a willingness to do the hard things that will help you obtain your objective. I can’t promise you’ll like all of the songs but I feel pretty confident you’ll be able to find at least one.

Friday, the Moon enters Taurus paving the way for Venus. It’s a lovely day that you could use for just about anything, but if you focus on Venus things it’ll be that much sweeter.

Make some art, listen to music, dance, fall in love (with yourself, someone new, your significant other), enjoy delicious food and/or wine, or pamper yourself. 

Saturday 5/28:

Saturday Venus saunters into Taurus where she will be until June 22. In Taurus, she is at her most feminine.

Let’s talk about what Venus does. She magnetizes that which she desires to herself. She is the essence of love, beauty, and desire. 

Venus rules Taurus, which is a fixed earth sign. It is known for making planets more pleasure-loving, hedonistic, hardworking, stubborn, and earthy. This is very much the essence of a fertility goddess, the divine feminine, Queen of Pentacles, or the Empress. 

What does this mean for you? It means you and all of the other humans out there are going to be looking for pleasure with a strong desire to indulge in that which you find luxurious and sensuous. It could also mean that you might feel a little more bullheaded about what you desire and a little more determined to have it.
