Astrology for the Week of January 24 - 30

This week you’re in for some substantial forward momentum in your Capricorn house. Are you ready?

Monday could be emotionally intense. If you’re feeling triggered wait to take action until you’ve had the time and space to evaluate your reaction.

The big news Monday morning is Mars making his way into Capricorn where he loves to be. You’ve been doing some massive rethinking about this part of your chart as Venus has been retrograde and Mars will begin helping you take steady action in making the changes you’ve been dreaming about. This is not a sprint, it’s a marathon and Mars will be here boosting productivity until March.

A few things to note. Mars and Venus will meet up on February 16 in Capricorn and again on March 6 in Aquarius but for the rest of January and all of February Mars and Venus will be in the same sign dancing together. This is definitely a relationship dynamic regardless of where you have it happening in your chart.

Tuesday is another tense day that brings some surprises - here’s a friendly reminder that tension isn’t necessarily bad.

Tuesday night, Mercury moves into Capricorn to join Mars and Venus. If you weren’t already intensely focused on making your Capricorn house as efficient as possible you will be starting today. 

As soon as Mercury enters Capricorn it will be conjunct Pluto - and it will be that way until February 14. That’s a lot of intense contemplation on something or someone over the next couple of weeks.

If you’ve been experiencing the Mercury trials and tribulations in your Aquarius house that should calm down a bit while the shenanigans in Capricorn amp up.

Wednesday has the potential to be frustrating emotionally but by the end of the night, you may be ready to let go of feelings you’ve been holding on to that have been holding you back.

Thursday is a much more expansive day that should feel like slipping into a hot tub after a long week. The entire day has a pleasantly productive vibe that could also be somewhat playful. This is a great day to talk with clients or employers about future plans.

Saturday morning, Venus *finally* stations direct closely trine to Uranus. Remember, on December 19 she stationed retrograde with Pluto so while there has been a lot of transformation related to love, money, and the structure of your future - it might not look like you thought it would.

You’ve got until the first of March to sort out the details when Venus joins Pluto again (with Mars!) when you’ll finally be ready to move forward - for real this time.

Back to the daily part of the forecast - Saturday morning might start off a little aggravating but everything is flowing along better by the afternoon and the evening ends on a positive note that would be great for a date or spending time with friends and family.

The New Moon is in a couple of days and you have tonight and Monday night to finish letting go so you can start fresh.

Speaking of the Aquarius New Moon - that’s also the Chinese New Year and next week is when the new beginnings and astrological forward momentum really kick off.
