Astrology for the Week of May 29 - June 4

The start of the week is kind of… normal. I don’t mean it will be boring because there is always the possibility that a transiting planet will be setting off a planet or point in your natal chart that could cause fireworks. But in general, it’s kind of a nice easy build to the intensity of the Sagittarius Full Moon this weekend (but it’s mostly a nice kind of intensity).

Friday, there is again support for taking care of business but we start to get a hint of emotional intensity and buildup as Venus trines Neptune.

Venus and Pisces flowing together can heighten feelings of love, empathy, and spiritual connection in relationships. It’s also great for creative and artistic expression. This is an excellent time to connect with others on a deep emotional and spiritual level, and for practicing self-love and care. The Cancer-Pisces water trine could stimulate profound intuitive insights about personal values and relationships, promoting emotional healing and spiritual growth.

However, there's also a risk of becoming overly idealistic or unrealistic about relationships. Boundaries could be blurred leading to confusion or deception, or a tendency to see what we want to see rather than reality. There might also be a risk of escapism, particularly through emotional indulgence.

Enjoy the waves of compassion, creativity, and intuition but remain mindful of illusion and over-indulgence, especially related to the topics of your Cancer and Pisces houses (or love and money).

Saturday, we all get to enjoy the build-up to the Sagittarius Full Moon. Full Moons are always a period of completion, revelation, and heightened emotions. It’s a great time for manifestation and putting yourself out there as it relates to your Sagittarius house right up until the Full Moon culminates at 11:41 pm Eastern. After that, it’s time to think about what you want to revise or let go of in this area in order to move forward.

This Full Moon may bring a heightened sense of adventure and desire for expansion, possibly illuminating the achievement of a significant goal or understanding that began with the Taurus New Moon. The conjunction of Mercury and Uranus in Taurus could spark innovative, practical solutions or unexpected breakthroughs, particularly in communication or thinking. Jupiter in Taurus provides a sense of abundance and appreciation for the material world, potentially amplifying opportunities.

On the other hand, it could also bring restlessness or overconfidence, leading to rash decisions or over-optimism for you (or those around you). The Mercury-Uranus conjunction might cause erratic or unpredictable communication, sudden changes of plans, or disruptive ideas. The desire for material growth from Jupiter in Taurus could lead to overindulgence or impracticality, particularly if the urge for expansion overshadows the need for practicality and moderation.

Astrology is never (ok, rarely) unequivocally good or bad but this Full Moon is pretty delightful as long as you remember that plot twists don’t mean something has gone wrong and you remember to reign in your desire for growth by firmly planting your feet in the reality of the work it’ll take to get that harvest you want.

Speaking of intensity, Sunday the power continues to amp up as Mercury meets up with Uranus in Taurus. This is fantastic for sudden insights, innovative ideas, and unconventional ways of thinking. Unexpected opportunities, communication, and information may come to light. It’s the perfect time for cultivating unique, ground-breaking ideas that can lead to tangible results.

However… it can also be a period where people (including you) have a tendency to be a little bit restless or impatient and be more impulsive with communication. The desire for change might become so intense that it leads to significant disruptions, erratic communication, unexpected twists and turns in conversations, and arguments when two people suddenly want to communicate very different ideas. Financially, there may also be a greater willingness to take undue risks or make impulsive decisions.

Try to channel the innovative energy constructively and be mindful of its disruptive potential. Balance the demand for change and innovation with the need for stability and practicality, especially as it relates to the topics of your Taurus house.
