Astrology for the Week of November 1-7

Monday:

Monday is a nice, quiet day.  The Moon is void (not talking to other planets) and just generally enjoying herself quietly doing Virgo things - whatever that may look like in your chart.

Think of this as a rest or prep day for the rest of the week ;)

At least until the Moon enters Libra at around 6 pm. Monday night the tides start to shift to deeper waters.

Tuesday:

• ☿ at 24° 29‘ Libra □  ♇ at 24° 29‘ Capricorn | 4:39 AM

Tuesday has the final Mercury-Pluto square. This little dance began more than a month ago when Mercury first squared Pluto on September 22 before slowing down to go retrograde.

Something probably came up for you that week that has been an ongoing revelatory experience that got a second hit on October 1 while both planets were still retrograde.

This final aspect has both planets direct and moving strongly forward so whatever you thought you settled at the end of September/ beginning of October is up for reevaluation. 

This could have to do with something you’ve been obsessively thinking about or a series of very deep conversations that you’ll finally have a lot of clarity about in or around today. It might also look like a truth you didn’t want to tell or one you didn’t want to hear but are now ready to accept or share. 

I know for sure what this is likely to be for me because I obsessively journal in my Honeycomb Almanac and note important transits, but I’m an astro-nerd, and if you have no idea what this is for you…

It’s also a great day to do some deep introspection, journaling, therapy, shadow work, and divination in search of truth that has thus far been elusive for you. 

Or have *that* conversation with someone. Whatever that is and whoever it may be.

Wednesday:

Wednesday night the Moon moves into Scorpio - continuing to place an emphasis on deep conversations or obsessive thoughts as she moves towards a conjunction with the Sun during tomorrow’s new moon.

If you need to release something that you’ve been holding on to or obsessing over (again, think back to the end of September first of October for clues)... 

Tonight is a fantastic night to ritualize and release.

Now, I know not all of my listeners consider themselves to be witches so I want to put this another way.

Saying goodbye to people is an important step in the grieving process. That’s why funerals happen in cultures throughout the world. But it’s just as important to say goodbye and grieve for dreams, hopes, jobs, relationships, versions of ourselves, and anything else we experience as a loss if we are to ever begin the process of recovering and healing so that we can move forward with confidence.

It’s ok to be sad about something ending or changing and honoring it with something more than a passing thought can be powerful regardless of any spiritual meanings you associate with it.

Thursday:

Thursday’s New Moon is a doozy.

Not only is it a new beginning in the deepest, darkest, arguably scariest, and most passionate zodiac sign on the wheel - but it’s also opposing Uranus which is lightning in a bottle. I’d be shocked (I’m so punny) if there wasn’t some element of surprise today that highlights an area that is going to be lit up for you for the next year and a half as eclipses move into the signs of Scorpio and Taurus - actually, the very first eclipse here happens in just a few weeks…

Are you ready? Because November only gets more intense from here.

Friday:

Friday. Holy hell is Friday a day. 

We start the day off with Venus moving into Capricorn - where she will be until March 6, 2022. FOUR months of this so I hope you are fond of your Capricorn house because she’s about to be all over it. 

Normally Venus goes through a sign in about a month-ish. She won’t enter her shadow for a couple of weeks so this will be a slow and relatively gentle warm-up so you can acclimate to the topics that are likely to be prominent until March. 

Then the Moon goes void with a sextile to Pluto around 11 am - further emphasizing some deep topics and themes with plenty of space for contemplation and integration before moving into Sagittarius around 8 pm.

During that void Moon, Mercury moves into Scorpio - further adding to the deep dive that November will be for everyone in some way. 

If you like intense, deep, passionate communication, dates, and other adult-related activities, this weekend could be a lot of fun. If that sounds like one of the seventh circles of hell because you prefer congenial conversations, adventurous dates, and romantic activities… proceed with caution.

Saturday:

• ☿ at 01° 09‘ Scorpio ✳ ♀︎ at 01° 09‘ Capricorn | 10:58 AM

Saturday is more of the same vibe with Mercury and Venus forming a sextile around 11 am - but slightly muted because the Moon is now in Sagittarius and the vibe between Mercury and Venus is pleasant.

Sunday:

Sunday is truly a day of rest this week - and I think many of us will be happy for it after all of the intensity.
