[Fate & Free Will ] Astrology for the Week of April 14-20

Now that the eclipses are over and all of the inner planets are direct again (Mercury, Venus, and Mars) you may notice that it’s easier to finally start gaining momentum - especially with so many planets shifting signs this week! 

Consider this a reboot and start this week like it’s the first day of a brand new life. 

I’ll let you in on a little secret.

I’m personally considering Solstice (June 20), and more specifically the Cancer New Moon (June 24)  to be a magnificent launch zone for the rest of 2025 and beyond because many of these larger cycles (Pluto, Neptune, Uranus) will be playing out over the next decade and by Solstice Saturn and Jupiter will be in position to turbo charge the changes.

Until then you’re still cleaning up some and reckoning with the retrograde and eclipse aftermath - it’s forward momentum in preparation of the exponential growth that is coming. 

This is not the season of netflix and chill, it’s the season of how bad do you want it and what are you willing to do to get it ;)

With a few tiny caveats…

Monday 04/14

• No transits

Monday there are no astrological aspects happening in the sky but that doesn’t mean the planets aren’t interacting with your natal chart. 

That’s what makes astrology a little tricky. 

Back to those caveats… 

General horoscopes, like this one, can tell you what is generally going on - but they miss all of the nuance of how the current sky is interacting with your natal chart and your personal cycles (like annual profections). 

One of the coolest things I’ve seen after teaching hundreds of people about astrology is how accurate individuals can be when they start to track astrology for themselves. 

I can teach you exactly how to do that inside of The Crusade - it’s just one of the ways I teach magical creatures to better understand themselves and how to more easily navigate the world around them.

But in general…

The day moves quietly but with more weight under the surface than it first appears and small shifts can carry a lot more meaning than they seem to on the surface.

• Best for: Following through on commitments, strengthening connections, working steadily 
• Potential Challenges: Getting caught in emotional undercurrents, overreacting, letting personal doubts slow momentum

Tuesday things move better when you trust the work you’ve already done instead of trying to control every little twist. It's a good day for following through on what matters without getting pulled into distractions that don’t.

• Potential Challenges: Losing focus, pushing too hard, impatience with slow progress

Wednesday Mercury moves back into Aries to finish up his retrograde tour. 

Plenty of ideas and energy are flying around, but not all of it lands cleanly. 

There's a sense of wanting to get somewhere quickly, even if the bigger picture gets a little blurry along the way. Small opportunities pop up, but staying clear on what actually matters could take a little more effort.

• Best for: Quick decisions, spotting new opportunities, gathering momentum, starting conversations
• Potential Challenges: Scattered focus, overcommitting, missing details, chasing too many things at once

BONUS Tip - Pay attention to anything that comes up related to your Aries house today and tomorrow as Mercury will be chatting up Neptune about the new dream in this area. (Crusaders have been listening to me talk about this since the 2025 forecast I did in January)

Thursday Mercury catches up to Neptune, revisiting the exact spot he backtracked over earlier this month—but now with Neptune in Aries for the first time in over a century. 

Things that’ve been forming quietly in the background may finally come into sharper view, even if there are still more questions than answers. Momentum is building, but keeping track of what’s real versus what’s rushing by will matter more than speed.

• Best for: Following up on recent insights, exploring new dreams, noticing where direction is starting to form, tracking where attention keeps returning
• Potential Challenges: Overstating things, assuming clarity too soon, missing subtle shifts, saying more than is necessary

Friday Mars finally moves out of Cancer and into Leo - which means taking action is about to get a whole lot more direct and decisive. We aren’t quite done with the retrograde shadow period, but we are picking up speed.

But that doesn’t mean today there will be perfect clarity…

Today could feel a little off-balance, like conversations and plans don't land exactly the way they were intended. Small misunderstandings or missed signals can slow things down, especially if there’s pressure to move faster than the situation allows. Clarity is possible, but it’s more work to reach it today than usual.

• Best for: Checking details, slowing down conversations, being thorough with commitments, noticing where plans need adjustment
• Potential Challenges: Miscommunication, rushing decisions, missing important information, frustration over slow responses

Saturday the Sun moves into Taurus and Mars nudges Neptune - giving you even more insight into the budding Aries dream.

When the Sun moves into Taurus we shift into the heart of spring. It’s a slower, steadier vibe perfect for tending your literal or figurative garden.

But with Mars and Neptune mixing it up there’s a mix of wanting to move with purpose and getting caught up in visions that aren't fully formed yet. 

It’s easy to feel ready to act, but harder to tell which direction is actually built to last and which might just be a pipe dream.

• Best for: Starting long-term projects, clarifying motivations, recognizing early-stage ideas, taking steady action
• Potential Challenges: Chasing distractions, getting pulled off course, mistaking excitement for real direction, overcommitting too soon
