Astrology for the Week of September 27 - October 3

Monday has a lot of Moon action that probably means you and everyone else are thinking a lot about the dreams and big ideas that developed over the weekend. This could be great if you had a dreamy weekend or a little obsessive if things didn’t go as well as you’d have liked.

Tuesday is another quiet astrological day. The only aspect is a square between the Sun and the Moon which could be a challenge or some type of tension between your mind and heart or between you and another person.

Wednesday is where the week really gets going. Venus trines Neptune and the Sun trines Saturn. 

The day is likely to go one of two ways depending on which planets are most active in your chart and which ones you naturally align with.

If you’re more of a Venus and Neptune person this has the potential to be a very romantic, dreamy, escapist kind of day. Dreaming, romance, relaxation, escape, love, dreaming, creating art and music, and generally loving love could be easy to slip into. Pamper yourself or someone else but also be aware that rose-colored glasses are firmly in place so don’t make any life-altering decisions. This aspect is exact at 11:13 am so it will be influencing the events of Tuesday night as well, which might be an even better time to embrace the romance.

On the other hand, if you’re more of a Sun and Saturn person you might be making steady progress on an ongoing project like writing a book, renovating a house, or developing a workout routine you’ll be really dedicated to. This aspect isn’t exact until 5:19 pm which means it’s heavily influencing the whole day and into the evening. Maybe a romantic Tuesday evening followed by a remarkably productive Wednesday?

On Thursday morning the Moon gets into a bit of an argument with Pluto and then retrograde Mercury before going void from 9:48 am to 7:53 pm. 

What this means for you is that you might be really tempted to snap at someone without thinking and then spend the day brooding about it. Try to remember to count to 10 before replying to anyone and you can spend that void Moon being left alone to enjoy the Venus Jupiter square that goes exact at 6:31 pm right before the Moon moves into Leo at 7:53.

This looks like a great night to go out with friends or indulge in whatever it is that makes you feel abundant, joyful, and a little hedonistic.

Friday doesn’t have quite the party vibe that Thursday had but it’s not unpleasant.

You’re likely to spend the morning thinking a little obsessively about a project or person or perhaps even getting into a more intense than usual conversation that challenges your perceptions. This is a repeat of the energy that happened about a week ago so the themes may be up for review as part of the retrograde process.

The rest of the day is nice with the potential for something unexpected Friday night. If you’re expecting the unexpected it’ll be easier to flow with those changes rather than resist them and ruin your weekend mood.

Try to enjoy the relative calm of this week, because next week is more intense. Think of this as the calm before the storm. Stock up on self-care and positive connections to see you through the upcoming turmoil.
