[Fate & Free Will ] Astrology for the Week of February 19 - February 25

We are rapidly approaching the end of our clear(ish) blue ocean of productivity. At the end of next month the shenanigans begin in earnest with the Lunar Eclipse in Libra on March 25th that is followed by a Mercury retrograde in Aries and a Solar Eclipse in Aries.

Wednesday starts off a little sleepy but once the Moon roars into Leo at 8:40 am eastern the intensity starts to ramp up for what is sure to be an interesting couple of days.

It’s likely to be an emotionally intense day with a lot of interesting relationship dynamics and assertive energy - did you like what I did there? Totally neutral ;)

Overall it’s a day where you (and everyone else) will likely be navigating big emotions and trying to find a balance between personal and relational needs. If you’re able to harness all of that assertive energy constructively, there is an opportunity to address and resolve tensions or conflicts as they come up.

All of this energy is really building towards the Venus-Mars conjunction that happens on Thursday - but you’ll for sure notice the effects starting today (if not earlier in the week!)

Thursday is the Venus and Mars show - all happening in Aquarius. 

I’ve talked a LOT about Aquarius over the past month so hopefully you know what area of life that is for you. For Libra and Leo risings, this has been mostly about relationships because of the house placements - but because Venus and Mars are meeting up, all of the rising signs might find relationship issues/opportunities showing up regardless of the other house topics that are likely being triggered.

Wherever all of the Aquarius action has been happening in your life, you may notice a heightened sense of ambition and drive. It's a time when taking initiative feels more natural, and you're more inclined to pursue goals that previously seemed daunting. 

This could look like a renewed sense of passion and intensity. Relationships might experience a boost, with both parties more willing to engage deeply and authentically. It's an excellent time for addressing unresolved issues or for taking relationships to a deeper level of commitment. 

With this intensity comes the potential for conflict, especially if opinions on how to move forward differ.

Professionally, you might find yourself more motivated to take on challenging tasks or to step up as a leader. You may even feel like it is time to make bold decisions or propose innovative ideas. 

However, this energy can also manifest as a tendency to be overly assertive or confrontational, which could create tension with colleagues or superiors.

Friday the Moon is void pretty much all day. That means that while there are some big shifts going on people (including you) might be a little more unavailable and plans may be canceled or delayed. 

Void Moon days are excellent for deep work on an existing project, self-care, and internal processing and not so great for starting brand new things or expecting everyone to be on time.

The big news for today (aside from what the Moon is doing) is that Mercury is splashing into Pisces at 2:28 am eastern.

With Mercury in Pisces you may notice a shift in your mental processes and communication style. During this period, your thoughts might lean towards a more intuitive and empathetic approach, as Pisces encourages a deeper connection with the emotional and non-verbal aspects of communication. This can be an excellent time for creative thinking and expressing ideas through artistic mediums.

However, the clarity and directness typically associated with Mercury might be somewhat obscured under Pisces' influence. You could find yourself more prone to daydreaming or getting lost in your thoughts, which might make it challenging to focus on detail-oriented tasks. This is a period where misunderstandings can occur more easily, so extra effort might be needed to ensure clear communication.

• Aries Rising: Your mental focus turns inward, encouraging introspection, dealing with the subconscious, and uncovering hidden truths. While introspection is favored, distinguishing between insightful reflections and misleading conclusions requires careful attention.

• Capricorn Rising: All forms of communication — speaking, writing, learning, etc. are highlighted. However,  you may need to put in more effort to ensure clarity in communication and to stay focused on learning and communication goals.
• Aquarius Rising: Thinking and discussions around how you make money, possessions, and values are highlighted.  Be extra careful with financial documents and discussions, as there's a higher risk of overlooking important details.
• Pisces Rising: It's a period for self-discovery, where your way of thinking and communicating takes the front seat, possibly leading to new personal insights. There might be a tendency towards scattered thoughts or misinterpretation of one's words by others so be more mindful of how you communicate.

Saturday  morning at 7:30 am eastern we have the Virgo Full Moon.

The Virgo Full Moon with the Sun conjunct Mercury in Pisces highlights a time of insightful reflection and mental activity. The Virgo Moon encourages a focus on detail and precision, fostering an environment for practical analysis and meticulous problem-solving.

However, with Mercury in Pisces, communication and thought processes might become less clear and more intuitive. This placement challenges the usual logical and detail-oriented Virgo energy by introducing a more emotional, imaginative, and somewhat nebulous perspective. 

Clear communication and decision-making could be more difficult, possibly leading to misunderstandings or misinterpretations. It's a time to be vigilant about how ideas and thoughts are conveyed and to be open to the subtle messages that may not be immediately obvious. 

But wait, there’s more.

Saturday night Venus in Aquarius will square Jupiter in Taurus. That’s pretty great news in general for both areas of life.

Additionally, you might feel a push to explore new horizons in your relationships and values, but this exploration can be at odds with a desire for stability and security. 

Because Venus and Jupiter teaming up can lead to big feelings (which also happens with Full Moons) be extra careful not to make promises you can’t deliver on or to overextend yourself towards the end of the week.
