“Well begun is half done” - attributed to Aristotle. I’ve been thinking about this little proverb a lot over the past couple of weeks. 

January is one of the best months to lay a solid, practical foundation for the rest of the year. Sure, that might sound like something people say at the beginning of every new year - but if you’ve been with me for awhile, you know it isn’t something I say every January.

The thing is, parts of this year are chaotic af and it’s way easier to be derailed if you don’t have a plan for where you’re going and why you want to get there.

Don’t worry,  2024 is solid compared to some of the years we have in the pipeline. Why am I telling you this now? 

Because there are times to put that cute little bunny nose to the grindstone and see what all you can get accomplished, and that is where we find ourselves. Time to get hopping.

Exercise extra caution when it comes to signing contracts or making important decisions because it will be a lot easier to overlook important details (or be intentionally misled). 

There are very few things that are so time sensitive that you absolutely can’t have time to think something over or gather a little more information before signing on the dotted line.
